Terms & Conditions of Use INTRODUCTION At Microage we respect the privacy of all our
visitors, and any information we collect will only be used to help us create a
better website/newsletter to meet your needs. We welcome feedback on this
policy statement, and would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Our web server automatically collects standard information: IP addresses,
browser types, referring pages, and pages visited. It does not collect your
email address. This information is then aggregated and used internally to help
us better target our website and newsletter to meet your needs.
BASIC STATEMENT Personally identifying information that you
provide to the Microage web site will not be made available to third parties
without your explicit permission.
Microage may make aggregate information about our visitors (e.g. overall
statistics) available to third parties for advertising and other purposes.
Information that personally identifies you will be kept strictly
confidential.
WHAT IS "PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION?" Personally
identifying information is information that can be explicitly used to identify
and/or contact you as an individual. This includes information like your real
name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card number, etc.
Information that, by itself, cannot be explicitly linked with your "real"
identity is not considered personally identifying. Examples of this are
favorite or bookmarked Web sites, or your preferences with respect to how you
wish to see a given page or site set up according to the selections you
choose.
USE OF COOKIES Your Internet browser has a feature called
"cookies" which store small amounts of data on your computer about your visit
to our site. However, cookies tell us nothing about who you are unless you
specifically give us personally identifiable information. The use of cookies is
an industry standard, and many major Web sites use them to provide great
features for their customers.
Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You do not need to
have cookies turned on to visit our website, although active participation in
certain areas of our site may require cookies. In addition, you may elect not
to allow cookies to be collected by selecting certain options on your
browser.
EXTERNAL LINKS Users should be aware that when you are on the
Microage website, you may be directed to other sites that are beyond our
control. Some links may take you away from our website. This includes
links from advertisers, sponsors and partners that we may have. These other
sites may send their own cookies to users, collect data or solicit personal
information.
CONTACTING US When you send us e-mail, we will use your name and
e-mail address only to respond to the concerns you are writing about. Your
e-mail may be shared with appropriate people within the Microage organization
to aid in responding to your concerns.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY Microage reserves the right to modify this
policy at any time by notifying customers, via this website, of any
modification of this privacy policy. If you have any questions or concerns
about this policy you can reach us at webmaster@internorth.com.
